Our Year 8 and 9 basketball class is designed for those just getting into the sport and those who are developing players ready to take their game to the next level. Led by qualified Somerset State coaches and exceptional role models, these sessions challenge athletes to refine their technical skills while introducing more advanced tactical concepts.

Working through our evolutionary basketball curriculum, players continue to sharpen fundamentals like dynamic dribbling, footwork, and shooting, while also building a deeper understanding of the game through structured offensive and defensive principles. From reading the game and creating space off the ball, to making smart passing decisions and supporting teammates in transition, this class pushes players to think and play like true basketballers.
